Hotel Shelfort is a small hotel occupying a separate floor in one of the most beautiful buildings of the Vasilyevsky Island, built in 1903 and newly reconstructed. The hotel is located a few-minute walk from the Spit of Vasilyevsky Island - one of the most famous places in the centre of St. Petersburg. The hotel is also situated very near the Winter Palace (The Hermitage), St. Peter-and-Paul´s Fortress and the Admiralty.
