Mariy El is a branded train operating daily since 1993 on the Moscow – Yoshkar Ola route. The travel time is 14 hours, most of which are during the night.
The train has 1st, 2nd and 3rd-class carriages and a restaurant car. Each carriage is equipped with an air conditioning system, vacuum toilets and 220V sockets. The first-class carriage can accommodate up to 30 people while the second-class car accommodates 64 passengers. Each second-class cabin is equipped for 4 people, with two lower and two upper 70 cm wide berths and a fold-out table. Third-class carriages don’t have any closed cabins and can accommodate up to 54 people. Bed linen is included in the ticket price.
