In winter, the largest number of individual tourists came to St. Petersburg from the USA

Last winter, according to the St. Petersburg 24 mobile application, the largest number of individual foreign tourists visiting St. Petersburg came from the United States.
Along with Americans, Belarusians and Kazakhstanis were the top three nationalities that visited St Petersburg. China is in the fourth place of the ranking (although it was in the top three at the beginning of winter), and neighbouring Estonia takes fifth place.
Tallinn was the city where most foreign tourists came from, with Riga, Almaty and Helsinki running up behind.
The most popular attractions for foreign tourists visiting St Petersburg in winter were the Museum of Magic on Nevsky Prospekt, the viewpoit “Roof of the World” near Admiralteyskaya metro station, the Ice Fantasy festival of ice sculptures and St. Isaac's Cathedral.
