The free E-Visa to St. Petersburg. List of the border crossing points.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has announced the list of the border crossing points in St. Petersburg and Leningradsky region through which tourists can pass with a free E-Visa.

Free E-Visa is a simple and convenient way to explore the city and its suburbs. The procedure requires the traveler to fill in an online application form without additional documents. This option will be available already starting from 1st of October 2019 for 53 foreign States. To fill the form and see the eligibility for application is possible at the special website for E-Visa application: https://electronic-visa.kdmid.ru/

Currently, only air, pedestrian and automobile crossing points on the territory of St. Petersburg and Leningradsky region are available for entering the country. It includes the following custom control points:

• the air crossing point "Pulkovo";
• the marine crossing points "Vysotsk", "The big port of St. Petersburg (Marine station section)", "Passenger port St. Petersburg";
• the car crossing points "Ivangorod", "Torfyanovka", "Brusnitchnoe", "Svetogorsk";
• the pedestrian crossing point "Ivangorod". 

Please pay attention, that entry and exit from the Russian Federation in St. Petersburg and Leningradsky region by rail transport are currently unavailable.

The transportation companies can check the availability of the valid E-Visa at the special automated website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation (https://evisacheck.kdmid.ru/).
